This game is great. The art and music are very glitchcore, and quite unique, in a way that I see beauty even in its moments of grotesque horror. The story is told in a fragmented way spanning multiple characters, all of the events taking place in this one building, spread across many years. So don't do what I did and start the game, then go away and play a dozen other games for a few weeks before coming back to it. You'll just be making things harder for yourself, hahaha. It worked out ok though. I didn't get all the achievements, just the ones for beginning and ending the game, so think I might replay this game, and I don't mind doing so. EDIT: I played through it a second time and I recommend doing so, because everything fits into place when you know what's up. EDIT EDIT: I played through it a third time, using both upstairs and downstairs altars for the achievements. I do truly love this horrifying, tragic story. What a great game.

after playing for 2.5 hours (20min from the end) the game softlocked. even after rebooting, my save never let me move at all. this game also does not have steamcloud saves so i couldnt try on another computer. definitely cannot recommend a narrative game with a softlock that corrupts your only game save (there appear to be no backups) especially near the end. watching someone elses playthrough i also cant say i fully grasped the story even though i read every log. as much as i was sucked in to the story it didnt stick the landing for me. id probably say 6/10 if it didnt have technical issues.

I booted up the game at 11pm only intending to check out the beginning, but ended up being so engrossed that I played till the end in one sitting. Piecing together the non-linear storytelling was really satisfying. You are trying to piece together what happened in the past and what is happening right now, making connections between memories from decades ago and what the building is like now. I don't want to spoil anything, but you will definitely enjoy it if you are looking for a horror story about the queer struggles and the power of memories. The adventure game puzzles aspect also felt just right. Puzzles were satisfying to solve, but I also never got stuck badly enough to affect the flow of the story.

a truly phenomenal game that won't take up too much of your time, it tells a intriguing and visually stunning story of queer love and the fragility of memories (among other themes too). it can be easy to get stuck at certain points in the game and admittedly the story took me a couple play throughs to really reveal itself in full, but imo it's *so* worth the time. really hope we see more stuff like this from the devs!

i loved it, a good length, pretty easy difficulty but in a nice way that lets you focus on the story. love trans metaphors of self discovery and reassurance, super sweet.

very short. fun horror, but could be a bit slower. players will miss stuff and progress the game if they don't backtrack every so often. well written
