This is such a fun and crazy game! I had a blast hunting down all the achievements. It runs perfectly on both PC and Steam Deck without any issues. My only wish is that it was longer, I didn’t want it to end! Thanks to the developer for making such an enjoyable free game. Highly recommend giving it a try!

fun game but I do have some complaints weapons don't do enough damage or don't spawn often enough because it felt like I was running back and forth for a long time waiting for weapons to spawn to kill yule

Putrid Snow 2: House of Yule is a weird little Christmas horror game that mixes survival, comedy and simple action in a way that I actually found pretty fun. I wake up on Christmas Day to find my family missing and the mansion completely empty, but there are presents scattered around the house. The problem is that these presents contain things like crowbars, machine oil, glue guns and even banana peels instead of normal gifts. I have to search the mansion, collect useful items and get ready for what is basically a Christmas siege. The mansion is small enough that I can learn the layout fairly quickly, but there is still enough variety to make exploring worthwhile. I can move through the living room, corridors, basement, attic and even a small hedge maze outside. I have a six slot inventory, so I cannot simply carry everything I find, which means I have to decide what is actually useful. I also need to keep an eye on my Christmas Mood and find food and sweets to keep my energy up. I like these little survival systems because they give me something to manage without turning the game into a complicated survival simulator.
