Quell Reflect is a relaxing puzzle experience developed by Fallen Tree Games Ltd and published by Green Man Gaming Publishing. Rather than relying on action or fast-paced mechanics, the game embraces a slower, more thoughtful approach that rewards patience, observation, and logical thinking. As the sequel to the original Quell, it expands on its predecessor with more sophisticated puzzle design, an emotionally driven atmosphere, and an artistic presentation that transforms each level into a peaceful mental exercise. Its understated style proves that engaging gameplay does not require constant excitement, but instead can thrive through carefully crafted challenges and a calming environment. The core gameplay revolves around guiding a droplet across grid-based stages by moving in one of four directions. Once a move is made, the droplet continues sliding until it reaches an obstacle, meaning every decision affects the entire puzzle. While the controls remain extremely simple, the level design steadily introduces fresh mechanics and increasingly intricate layouts that require players to think several moves ahead.
