Does not save my progress In over 40 minutes of playtime, this game only tried to save my progress twice and failed both times, displaying an error message about corrupted data. Just to make sure, I checked by leaving the game and when coming back, none of my collected resources were present, making it impossible to upgrade my gear, which is NECESSARY to beat the rising difficulty of later levels. I have had more fun with virtual archery in Skyrim.1 found this helpful
The game is broken. There are two major bugs that have been around since 2017. The game works if you just want to shoot a bow at some monsters, but you cannot progress because one bug does not allow you to get new items which are necessary to get through tough levels. There are save issues with this game in short and EVERYONE who freshly installs this game as a new user WILL not get items nor have their stats saved if they reroll stats on the few items you start with. Bad form by the DEVS. Broken game. Devs abandoned it.
Before you buy: You can't get items, unless the devs manually fix your steam account in their database. Check discord. I spent the last 3 weeks trying to get items: - killed about 5,000 enemies and even beat the second boss. - Beat the first boss dozens of times. - installed and played quivr vanguard to fix the 'player data corrupt' issue - deleted system files registry files - played the old-main and beta versions No items. If you check discord.gg/quivr there are countless players over the past 5 YEARS crying, begging, pleading the devs to fix their games, and they just don't care. The item database is probably server side, and it's been probably offline since 2019.
Fun
(HTC Vive) Still has the bug where you don't get any progression. Sometimes works great, other times your hands and box shake all over the place. I don't have that issue with any other games. It's too bad this game seems to be abandoned. Get Elven Assassin instead.
Great game. Sole developer seems to have been hit by a bus and the backend servers have been offline since 2020. Should be removed from sale.
