About Rachel's Journal
You wake up in a maintenance room, alone.Your partner's journal is out in the open. You probably shouldn't read it.Features: Rachel's Journal is a short (20min) atmospheric reading game. Most of the game is spent reading, and absorbing the vibrant sound design.Controls: Mouse-only, all actions are performed by left-clicking. Interaction is intuitive and context dependent.Story: You wake up on a dying colonial vessel, destined for Mars. As one of the few survivors, you're trying to save your failing mission. Unfortunately Rachel's Journal betrays the truth that reality is a lot more complicated. You're immersed into this world with very little context. Sit in your sleeping bag and read as you try to figure out what's really going on.

A carefully crafted short thriller that successfully delivers the intended tense ambience through its gripping plot, superb hand-drawn art, and excellent sound design. Avoid spoilers, wear headphones, and turn down the lights before embarking on this interactive experience. Happy Spooktober! 👻🎃
Great paced playthrough with a spooky atmosphere. I loved the reference to CHAREN and the opportunity to explore more of that games universe too. I will be replaying this to flip through more pages in her journal!
Short and sweet. Interesting and compelling atmosphere. I really appreciated the sound design and visuals.
This game made me feel exactly as a horror game should, uncomfortable. Take your time with this one a really absorb the sound design (recommend headphones for this one) and the subtle visual changes as you read Rachel's Journal. Truly by the end I had no idea what was happening and enjoyed being as lost as the character.
