You Are A Psychic Agent
Take on the role of ES88, a young esper employed by MINERVA, a powerful organization specializing in information science, neurotechnology, and extrasensory phenomena. She has been tasked with tracking down Golden Butterfly, a mysterious psychic entity hiding in and fragmenting the memories of Neo-San Francisco's citizens. Who are they? Why are they doing this? And how will you stop them?
The Neurodiver
The Neurodiver is a bioengineered psychic creature made to assist in boosting an esper's natural abilities. With its help, you'll be able to collect clues and thoughts in your subject's memories in an effort to piece together distorted fragments inside them, pushing Golden Butterfly out!

Set once again in the colorful and technologically advanced Neo-San Francisco, the game shifts away from a broad investigative structure and instead tells a more intimate, character-driven story. Players take on the role of ES88, known as Luna, a young Esper with the rare ability to dive into people’s memories with the help of a strange psychic creature. This premise provides the foundation for a story that explores identity, perception, and the fragile nature of memory. The gameplay follows a classic point-and-click adventure format, emphasizing dialogue, exploration, and environmental interaction. Players move through detailed locations, speaking with a diverse cast and gathering information that gradually pushes the story forward. Great game, and I would even say this was better than "2064: Read Only Memories". Love the characters (⋆ˆ ³ ˆ)♥ (and the art style)
Overall: A good game that is worth the price even if you complete game in less than 5 hours, though it leaves a bit of room for improvement. Definitely try the demo first! Pros: +Presentation: The visual style is incredibly charming. +Audio: Voice acting, sound effects and music are all top-notch and adds a lot to the atmosphere. Neutral: Gameplay: The interactive mechanics and gameplay elements are fairly sparse. Narrative Depth: The story feels a bit surface-level.
While the first read only memories game was far better than this one, I think as long as you go into this one knowing its an entirely separate game, you'll be a-okay. They changed previous characters entirely where it feels like a standalone, and looking at it from that viewpoint, it was a short, but fun visual novel experience.
Good art, pretty good story, not as good as 2064 though
i played 2064 back in 2017/2018 and it was my favourite agme for ages. i remember seeing this game being announced years ago and only remembered about it recently. the art in this is amazing and the characters are so much fun. i love the dinamic between GATE and Luna, OTP. honestly, i wish is was longer. i want more of these characeters. MIDBOSS!!!! GIVE ME A ROM-COM COMIC ABOUT GATE AND LUNA!!!! AND MY LIFE!!!! IS YOURS!!!
