Players consistently criticize Nine After 9's poor technical implementation, with missing animations appearing as black boxes and overall buggy gameplay that makes it unplayable. While some appreciate the game's small file size and unique mirror/reflection mechanics concept, the execution is so fundamentally flawed that most players don't engage with the survival shooter elements or interactive features long enough to experience what the game intended to offer.
"Nine After 9" is a 2D retro wave survival shooter written in Java (don't laugh, it's true). There's some interactive elements such as the ability to gather sticks, but seriously, nobody is going to play this long enough to get that far. There's also some "mirror" gimmick where you can flip the level around. I've written over 5,700 video game reviews on Steam at the time of this review, and I've seen some things. Valve says that when we write reviews, we should say what we like about a game and what we don't like about a game, and sometimes it's challenging to find something nice to say. I'll go so far as to say this probably isn't the worst game on Steam. But it's definitely close. The implementation here is comically bad. As you can see from the screenshots there's some South Park-esque terrible paper cutout art (at least I hope that's the look they were going for, anything else and they failed). You amble around moving left, right, up or down (but not diagonally because there's only so much Java can handle!). You will get a good chuckle if you shoot your gun and observe the bullet comes out about 20 pixels below where the gun barrel is. It's nice that the develope…4 found this helpful

"Reflecting Reflections" — уникальная головоломка, где игрок управляет персонажем, используя зеркала для преодоления препятствий. Игра сочетает логику и физику, предлагая креативные решения. Визуальный стиль минималистичен, но атмосфера загадочная. Уровни постепенно усложняются, что держит в напряжении. Однако небольшая продолжительность и ограниченное количество уровней могут разочаровать. Подойдет фанатам интеллектуальных задач и экспериментов с отражениями.
Before I played Reflecting Reflections, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
