Retro Space Shooter

"Retro Space Shooter" looks more like an attempt to make a mobile app than a serious PC game, but falls flat incredibly hard. What's the game about? Retro Space Shooter presents itself as a 3D physics-based take on the classic top-down arcade space shooter genre, and whatever the developer was talking about there, they were wrong. It's a mildly 3D rendered 2D top down shmup with bog standard gameplay, that's all there is to it. The developers abandoned this 6 years and 2 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The graphics aren't great, heck the thing is locked to 9:16 aspect ratio. Did they even think at any point they were making this for PC? Do they have a PC, but set it up wrong and put their monitor on its side and nobody had the heart to tell them? That's understandably be turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. its ok, good looks, not a fan of the mouse only input. upgrading your ship is nice. how ever the ship add-ons are priced high. do not know if the game gives you more money the longer you stay alive.
