About Revenant
"Revenant" tells the story of a chilling tradition that prevailed in medieval England: arrested criminals would be stripped of a part of their skin to make a "human skin book" before being executed, to permanently record their crimes. These books are said to have mystical spirituality, carrying the evil spirits of their masters, leading those who wield them to destruction. Players will travel to a world full of mystery and horror. The text information in the game plays a key role in helping players understand the storyline and providing them with clues to solve puzzles and escape from difficulties. Survival Escape, that is, with plot, horror and decryption as the core. Players need to hide and escape to protect their lives, and the interior furniture in the game environment provides a great place to hide and help keep the game going.

"Revenant" is a failed Chinese asset flip... the intention was to make some kind of "hide and seek" game, but it feels like the developer coukdn't work out how to do the AI properly... really, it's a mess. Looks great though, doesn't it? Asset stores sure help developers look like they might be capable even when they (almost always) aren't. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game.
