https://youtu.be/IlFhUZ71FDg The inaccurate object placing makes the basic point 'n' click action fail in this hidden object game. Puzzles have next to no connective tissue making for a slapdash package.2 found this helpful
ok, so i was going to write a full review, but i reached a point in which the game was acting weird. I got stuck, checked hints, the hint told me to touch the skeletons crotch, i touched the skeletons crotch, nothing happened, assumed it was a bug with the system and looked around for other stuff.... I searched up a playthrough, and realized i had already done the skeleton puzzle, and was supposed to get a valve, because i never got the valve I am now softlocked out of the game. This game is unfortunately not functional as of this time.1 found this helpful
Honestly I loved this when I was younger but its worse then I remember, I don't know.1 found this helpful
Story is very well built, and the graphics are amazing. Gameplay is sometimes a little wonky (pixel hunting), but otherwise is very good.
Although the HOPs are a bit grainy, I enjoyed the game quite a bit. I found it hard to put down. It has a nice journal. No map A nice help system (it tells you what your next step should be) Interesting story Nice graphics and color. It mentions additional bonus chapter that can be bought, but I can't find it. I hope it's out there somewhere. It's supposed to have (I think) 15 more locations or something like that. It showed screen shots of them.
This game has some charm and a town of skeleton corpses being left everywhere. Graphics feel very dated but also give some good nostalgia. There was a lot of bizarre sound effect throughout and when doing tasks which I thought were pretty entertaining. Controls are a bit janky and click areas are somewhat off or easily zooms in a little without being able to zoom back out, you will get use to it but the first time or two it might throw you off a bit. The inventory menu is also a bit slow to pop up and you can not lock it. I am surprised the game had a decent amount of voice acting even if the volume level fluctuated at times. The end indicates there is a bonus chapter but the game crashes when you click OK so you will need to check out a community guide to help you get to it.
