this got nothing to do with rhythm. theres a background beat playing and the opponents just PULSATE a little. rest is like space invaders or games of that same genre with just 1 life. you can make a score. sometimes you die even without a hit by a bullet or something. i like how its made and the idea is good but the 'little pulsation' of the opponents not make it a rhythm game. its a nice timekiller still. here and there i will play it.12 found this helpful
Rhythm Overdrive is a creative fusion of rhythm gaming and arcade-style shoot ‘em up action that takes a familiar genre formula and injects it with a musical heartbeat. this game delivers all that it promises and it is simply great but i do have one little complain. could you please add the function to add some songs from your own library it would improve the game so much. if you do that then thank you1 found this helpful
A very cool experience !
Pretty good to hangout and listen to some cool music
It's more like Space Invaders (with bullets), rather than a proper shoot-em-up. The enemies move in formations according to the beat of the song, but that's the only "rhythm" element of the game. Lastly, the default primary weapon, the yellow gun, is apparently the most effective; the other weapons don't seem to compete with it. I'm afraid the best feature of this game is the soundtrack, which, unfortunately, isn't available to download.
