Rob Riches

This is the second game I have reviewed from MegaPop, the first one was Trolls vs Vikings Reborn, which I awarded a GamerPauly Says... GET YA MONEY OUT! Will it be two in a row ? Read on and find out! Rob Riches (RR) is a puzzle game set in ancient temples, collect the coins, avoid the traps and exit the level to the next, sounds simple enough doesn't it ? It certainly was to start with, the first 10 or so levels I was like yeah this is easy, no problem and then BOOM you get that level that hits you like a wet brick in the face, head scratching, feeling a bit stupid, how on earth do I solve this ? Not see easy now was it Pauly, but at least the game gives you a fair chunk of levels to get into it, its not rock hard after just a couple of levels, and I really liked that. The game has an isometric look and you move on the squares, one at a time, you cant fall off the edge or down holes (not by your general movement) but you can be hit by projectiles and fire from traps etc. Death restarts the level which may seem too frustrating to some, but the levels are small enough and its not too frequent death happened, at least not for me. Rob Riches is a nice game to play if you are bored and want something to do. Not to say i hated it as i believe it is fun! 8/10

Fun little game, nice puzzles sprinkled with some secrets. Could use some more difficult levels, many are too easy and too short (esp. those introducing new mechanics).

I am waiting the Sokoban game from Jonathan Blow, But since I am waiting for over 7 years, I tried to check similar games and discovered this one :D REALLY A GREAT GAME WITH NICE PUZZLES & GRAPHICS.
