i found it fun for the first few minutes, but then realised there was no level menu, and that dying takes you back a level. i personally found it quite irritating but i thought the music was good.4 found this helpful

"Robo Rob" is a poorly made Sokoban ripoff that eschews the old 2D graphics for mediocre 3D graphics, and instead of fixed grid movement, it's more freeform. What do you do in the game? Move boxes around and get to the exit, don't die to lasers... but the game failed not just because of the jankiness, lack of polish and very low quality, amateur tier technical delivery, but also the lack of a save feature as the developer sought to punish gamers who fail a level. This was unneccesary, the low quality of this game is already punishment enough. The game was an objective failure on Steam Direct as a result of these factors. The graphics aren't great, low quality, low poly mobile app tier graphics. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, t…1 found this helpful
