About Roman Conquest: Rise to Power

Several centuries ago, the Roman Empire filled the expanses of Europe, its greatness and power were undeniable. However, great ambitions also bring great challenges. The Empire is faced with vile enemies - barbarians and Gauls, who are eager to tear its territory apart.

Each morning ray prepares a new battle. Enemy raids on the camp are inevitable, and each repulsed attack is a step towards the liberation of the Roman lands. New challenges and new solutions lie ahead. But the determination and leadership qualities of the leader will restore the lands of the Roman Empire and restore trust in his name.

It's time to gather and lead an army, become a legendary commander and return the occupied lands. All this is possible in Roman Conquest: Rise to Power, a turn-based strategy game about the Roman Empire.

Immerse yourself in the history of the Roman Empire as a warrior, learn all the intricacies of military affairs and defense, fight against the Gauls and liberate your territories.

The game was created in tower defense mode and has a small, but fascinating and deep storyline that helps to feel the situation to the fullest.

Peculiarities:
    • acquaintance with new territories of Italy;
    • a large selection of towers and structures with different types of weapons and defenses;
    • improvement of buildings to increase the effectiveness of the fight;
    • upgrade weapons and equipment;
    • a complex of additional sources of income on the territory of the military camp (wheat field, lumberjack, etc.).

Bought on sale, still, not worth it. simple and very shallow tower defense game, 20' and campaign fully done. Sure i can replay it for gathering more upgrade points, but for what purpose? Two others campaigns in build the game says, we will see, unlikely with testing happening in April 2024... One good note though: at least I finally have a game where I managed to get Achievements at 100% in record time!

The game is certainly fun and has lot of potentials, but if its worth five euro's? Well id say it is. Given the effort so far, however the balancing in a matter of challenges for the five missions we are offered is not that great. As we are constantly throw into action, no means to know where the enemy comes from, in hopes to retaliate. Music is neat, for someone who creates content about the Game like Youtube, not really because of copy right...Ai usage for voice acting is ambitious and innovative. Getting the voice acting plus text in a same line is a challenge but would be nice if it was more accurate. Tower update bound to main building upgrade? Would be nice to have a forward warning...To also mention statics, like which tower can shoot far, area damage etc. Upgrades, which you unlock after finishing a certain mission? Great! But...What is it? We can only guess... Besides that id surely encourage to continue on, more missions, perhaps an endless mode or so and polishing the game. (P.S if in your opinion it isn't worth five EURO, then buy it on a sale. Or don't and wait until it gets better. But id also say, put your self in the dev's position too.)
