About Roskis: A Boozy Beginning

Roskis: A Boozy Beginning is a story heavy adventure/puzzle game with an emphasis to humour.

Animal control staff Hen and Bingy are enjoying another miserable day at work when their spaceship crashes onto planet Roskis. Stranded on an alien planet with an overwhelming insurance debt, Hen has no option but to accept a gruesome fate: to work as an intern for a corporation of capitalist dinosaurs.

And just as they start their brilliant careers, the future of Roskis falls into turmoil…

FEATURES:
• Brew wine for survival
• Make coffee for corporate dinosaurs
• Trip with hippie robots
• Execute poorly made plans
• Neutralize your uptight opponents and feed runaway creatures
• Solve twisted puzzles

WHAT OUR EARLY PLAYTESTERS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THE GAME:
• Pixel RPG like Undertale, with cruder humor
• You play as a human working for a drunk alien creature and solve puzzles
• A great game to kill time and read lots of senseless text

"Roskis: A Boozy Beginning" is a partially student made (ugh) yet paid product (definitely not okay) RPG-lite that, in the developers own words, is a furry orientated Undertale ripoff (Undertale is still the Guinness World Record holder for most severely overrated crap ever, and yet this is worse). What do you do in the game? You spend a lot of time trying to work out if this was made with the crapfest that is RPG Maker, it's almost indistinguishable. Then you do some ultra crap JRPG Final Fantasy ripoff stuff and some minigames, then read the developers high school furry fan-fiction writing about how much they love furries or something. This is really bad, I'd almost rather play a Russian asset flip or Chinese Three Kingdoms Era mobile app scam. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeede…

Lots of dialogue, to the point it felt like a point and click game, but it was still a fun experience. The game play is definitely different, and the tasks that needed to be completed were also enjoyable. I'm not sure if you can achieve different endings based on decision making, but it would be worth a second play through to try it out, especially since it doesn't take that long to complete the game.
