About Runecraft

You are a master runecrafter. You have been tasked with solving a series of puzzles using your runic knowledge to delve deeper and deeper into an ancient labyrinth, and discover what awaits you within. Each puzzle will require you to combine runes in more intricate and expansive ways as their complexity increases. Or you can choose to lose yourself within the labyrinth, playing through an endless sequence of puzzles with configurable difficulties.

Every rune transforms streams of magic in unique ways: Changing the polarity of the magic flowing through your runic structure. Earth runes, air runes, fire, water, and more. Power flows from the heavens, and must always reach the void in the correct polarities. The aether and void runes show you the pattern, and it is up to you to draw the correct combination of runes to match it.

Starting with a blank canvas of only the aether and void runes, watch their colors change and show you the pattern. Then drag out the runes you need to solve the pattern, and draw the lines to connect the runic pattern.

4/10 Are you smart enough to combine the runes into the correct pattern to channel the flow of energy as desired? What is it: Figuring out what the game actually is was the biggest challenge, so I’ll just put it behind a spoiler.
This is a logic gate circuit designer. In every level you get a number of inputs and a number of outputs. The inputs cycle through all possible combinations of red and blue (false and true), and the outputs show the expected output for that combination. You are given a few runes and must build a circuit. Each rune has a cryptic description about energy flow, but they are the classic boolean gates: and, or, nand, nor, xor and not. Put them on the ground and make connections to turn the inputs into the expected output to win the level.
The game is short, with only 18 main levels, and with the exception of 2 levels, they are mostly tutorials. More levels may come soon, but for now the bulk of the game is in its randomly generated free play levels, where you can decide how many inputs and how many outputs to use, up to 4 of each. You can also choose to only work with
nand or nor gates
for an extra challeng…

whew this was a hard game man. I am just in my CS course and I can see a lot of parallels so I'm glad to put my logic class to the test :P The background music is super soothing and once you get the hang of the puzzles it's very satisfying.
