About S K Y R I S E
In 1999, an interdimensional megalomaniac uses a skyscraper as a time travel vessel leaving behind a mini-black hole, distorting reality and a chunk of downtown. Welcome to that chunk of time and space.
Armed with the ability to bend both time and space, you are a trained mercenary of an elite operative squad for hire known as "The Agency" known for efficient, and equally expensive, assignment fulfillment at any cost. Parry, dodge, and sling bullets while chopping and skewing time in a race to your inevitable death - then wake up, and do it all over again. One day, you think, you won't die.
Stuck within the Event Horizon, denizens of downtown as well as The Agency will provide you with randomized tools that you can unlock in subsequent runs. Gun attachments and other items will unlock as you gain cash and hack computers in minigames and improvisational choices. Face bosses and enemy variation that unlock as you progress. Water cooler humor, old school CRT's, that kinda thing.

Players praise Skyrise as a transformative experience with exceptional gameplay, stunning visuals, and a deeply moving story that resonates on a philosophical level. However, the review appears incomplete, making it difficult to identify common complaints or balanced criticism from the player base.
At first, I thought I was just launching a video game. I was wrong. Skyrise, developed by SOSASOFT, is not a game. For me it is an experience that fundamentally altered my perception of reality. Before playing Skyrise, I measured time in hours and days. After playing Skyrise, I measure time as "before Skyrise" and "after Skyrise." From the moment the game starts, it grabs hold of your soul and refuses to let go. Every frame feels handcrafted by visionaries operating on a higher plane of existence. The gameplay is so refined, so impossibly satisfying, that every other game I have ever played now feels like a rough prototype. The story hit me with the force of a philosophical revelation. I laughed. I cried. I stared silently at the screen contemplating the meaning of existence. The characters feel realer than some people I've met in real life, and the world of Skyrise is so immersive that returning to reality afterward felt genuinely disappointing. The soundtrack deserves to be preserved in a museum. Every note feels perfectly placed, elevating each moment into something unforgettable. Combined with the visuals, it creates an atmosphere that borders on transcendent. What truly sets …
