This game is.... interesting. It looks AMAZING from the pictures and videos but in reality is very empty. It has an interesting system of, your currency is your health as well as what you should use to upgrade and build things and robots. This isn't bad overall BUT it takes a lot to get the currency, there is no dodge unless you unlock it, and your attacks are very short range so you get hit you lose your currency/health. The above mixed with the fact that you do not really get a LOT of the resource, enemies only have a chance to drop 1 of this resource if they do and then there are chests that will sometimes give you the resource in varying amounts 2-10? I think? I didnt count honestly. This game is mis-categorized. It's basically rogue like/lite. You lose everything if you die, you find npcs that are vendors and go through levels similar to the way you do in many other games similar to this. There is no story progression, there is nothing to push you forwards other than achievements and finding missing things from your vendor. There are also invisible mines that will randomly hurt you and that is annoying and frustrating. Overall I enjoyed the game but it did keep crashing…3 found this helpful
I received a code from the devs through Lurkit. I enjoy this game. I loved the art style. It felt very Tim Burton-esk. I enjoyed what the game offered. I enjoyed the puzzles, the aesthetics of the enemies, and just the overall vibe of the game. If you like games like Kingdom: New Lands and other games like it, you will like this. It did fell better on controller, but also good with mouse & keyboard. I do have some critiques for the devs. Here they are: - Please fix the constructor & gathering bots ignoring when enemies attack. Please have them retreat to the last wall. - When purchasing upgrades ran into an issue where the purchase didn't go through, but the "lights" were spent. - I recommend an unstuck button when in a run, especially in the puzzle areas. I got stuck in a puzzle and had to exit out of the whole run just to reset. - Polish the combat mechanics. It was good, but could be better. I look forward to see what the devs have to offer in the future, and wish them the best of luck.3 found this helpful
Recycles levels and you can easily get stuck, without being offered a way out (respawn, restart, rewind, s**cide all unavailable). The concept seemed pretty cool though, a bit of a watered down version of Trine with TD elements added through a "roguelike" type of overlay.2 found this helpful
First 20 Minutes Gameplay Here First things first: The upgrade you should get, in my opinion, is the double jump feature! Everything comes after that! Second: Proceed cautiously with rocks blocking your way, as there could be landmines. Move away from the wall after breaking it, since falling rocks could be a hazard. In later levels, rocks might even fall on your head when opening a box with crystals! As for the game: After playing for a couple of minutes, I can definitely say that it's not what I expected, which I actually liked. I mean, yes, I played it for a while (and still do from time to time), but I got bored really fast. The promotion was great, but the game itself feels empty. So, some notes about the game: -Even though you have to run through a "terrain," the controls are clunky, and you get stuck when trying to jump or miss your jump spot. -I spent more time on some puzzles than I think I should have. -The crystals you gather are also your health, so keep track of them when using the currency for your "tower defense and robot upgrades," or you'll start the new level with only one health. -You can hit the mo…1 found this helpful
This game is really good, I received a key through the devs on Lurkit - I have posted a video of my review on my youtube, sadly, lurkit won't upload it, but I hope that the devs know that they've made a great game, I'm not sure if there's a good email for them to send the content to them, but I really enjoyed the game so far. I found bugs, but was unsure about how to find the inventory, but super great game.
master piece!! it is really a hidden gem! i really liked it
