About Solheim

The flame is dying. You are the last one who can carry it.

In Solheim, you ride a moving Ark through a corrupted world, mounting towers on its deck and recruiting petrified heroes to fight alongside you. Your mission: carry the last sacred flame across deadly biomes and restore it to the Pyreveil, the divine tree that once kept the darkness at bay. This is not a tower defence game where you sit and wait. The Ark moves. The enemies swarm. And every run, you come back stronger.

Key Features

A Tower Defence Game That MovesYour Ark travels through corrupted biomes on a fixed path. You build towers directly on its deck, choosing where each one sits and what it covers. When enemies attack from the left, your right-side towers can't help. Placement isn't just important, it's everything.Recruit Heroes From StoneAcross the world, legendary warriors stand frozen, petrified the night civilization fell. Your Ark's sacred flame can free them, each hero joins your crew with unique abilities.Roguelite Runs With Real ChoicesEvery event rewards you with blueprints, gold, and augments. Blueprints are generic, YOU choose which tower to craft. Augments stack infinitely, shaping your build run by run. No two runs play the same.A World That Wants You DeadThe Morrith, the ancient consciousness of the land itself,  has reclaimed Solheim. Forests twist into predators. The ground spawns horrors. Every biome is a descent deeper into her territory, ending with a colossal boss that tests everything you've built.A Hub That Tells a StoryBetween runs, return to camp. Talk to your heroes. Hear their stories. Learn what the world was like before it fell. Meet Aldric, a mysterious old man who knows far too much about the ancient past. The story unfolds through dialogue, not cutscenes, the narrative lives in the quiet moments.Craft, Upgrade, AdaptSeven tower types across five rarities. Cheap towers get you through the early game. Sell them. Rebuild as Rare, Epic, Legendary. Each rarity multiplies power dramatically. Your economy decisions matter as much as your tower placement.

The Sacred Vow

"While my flame still burns, the darkness shall not pass."Every Flamekindred swore this oath. The highest rank fell to corruption. The warriors were turned to stone. And now the lowest, an Ember, an apprentice that carries the last flame on a journey that was never meant for them.Five biomes to prove the darkness wrong.

3 months of development. I repeat — THREE MONTHS. How is this even possible?! Let's start with the elephant in the room. For me, the visuals alone are worth the price of admission. From the moment the Ark starts moving through those corrupted biomes, I was completely pulled in. The art style is dark, atmospheric, and dripping with personality. The world of Solheim is hauntingly beautiful and I found myself just... looking around, taking it all in. The augment + hero synergy is where things get really fun. Combining your heroes abilities with stacked augments creates these satisfying "everything clicked" moments that keep you coming back. One thing that genuinely surprised me is how much you have to think about the economy behind your towers. As the story progresses, the cost of building and upgrading them increases quite significantly, which can feel overwhelming at first, but actually adds a really satisfying layer of strategy. You can't upgrade everything, you have to choose wisely, prioritize, and sometimes sacrifice a weaker tower to be able to afford the one that truly matters. It gives real weight to every decision and a genuine sense of progression. Exactly the kind of chall…

I played Solheim on Steam and overall I had a great experience. The world is beautiful and well-designed, with impressive graphics that really bring everything to life. The music fits perfectly and creates a relaxing and immersive atmosphere. The gameplay is enjoyable and easy to get into, making exploration feel natural and engaging. I especially liked how everything flows together — the visuals, the sound, and the mechanics. As for progression, most of the loot on the map comes from chests placed in specific locations, and you can also unlock new heroes from time to time, which adds a nice sense of reward. However, one thing I didn’t like is the lack of a sprint button. Moving around the world can feel a bit slow at times, and having the option to move faster would make exploration much more enjoyable. It would also be great to see more dynamic events while exploring on foot, especially ones tied to lore, to make the world feel even more alive. In addition to these events, it would be really interesting if players could discover points of interest with messages, bits of information, or lore scattered throughout the world. Overall, Solheim is a solid and relaxing game that I w…

I honestly didn’t expect Solheim to pull me in the way it did. It’s not even the kind of game I usually play, but somehow it completely won me over. The first thing that shocked me was how beautiful the game looks. Knowing that it was developed in just 3 months makes it even more impressive. The atmosphere, the environments, the lighting — everything feels crafted with so much passion and attention to detail. There are moments where you just stop for a second and admire the world around you. What surprised me the most is that even though this genre normally isn’t my thing, I genuinely fell in love with Solheim. There’s something special about the way the game feels. It has soul. You can tell the developers poured their heart into it instead of just trying to make “another game.” It’s rare for a game outside my usual tastes to keep me interested, but Solheim did exactly that. Massive respect to the team for creating something this polished and memorable in such a short amount of time. I can’t wait to see what they do next.
