The visuals of this game are very impressive, all the sprite art are very cute, and the fusion of Touhou characters and Kirby abilities is very well done. I especially like enemies with abilities have a spell card above them so you can tell them at a glance. However, in its current state, the game simply isn't worth 20 dollars. There aren't enough content, and the localization is very poorly done. The Simplified Chinese language literally only covers the UI, with the story dialogue still in Japanese. Also, I only made it to stage 3, but the bosses so far have been all over the place. Hisoutensoku was so easy, you can literally just stand on the top platform and hit him with Ice and he'll die without ever being able to hit you. Marisa's first fight was so easy, you might mistake her for a common enemy, and same goes for Nitori's Kappa robot... And then the second Marisa fight has a sudden jump in difficulty, with barely telegraphed projectile attacks that you almost certainly won't be able to dodge on the first try. Also, according to the achievements, there are only five stages, which really isn't enough content for a game with this price. If the developers can improve the game…

I can't recommend the game in its current state, unfortunately, but it's very close. My biggest issue is that the English translation/localization quality is not good. I don't know much Japanese myself, but the English text has pretty broken grammar, and it's hard to follow the plot. The lead dev is the only one credited on localization. Maybe they can use some of the sales money to work with a professional translator on an overhaul of the whole English script. My second issue is that there's not a whole lot here for $20, but if you're a big Touhou fan who can understand written/spoken Japanese, I think you'll still get your money's worth. In general, the game is pretty charming, with a cute art style and the gameplay is very on the nose about its inspirations.

Touhou + Kirby Adventure = Kawaii Madness. Loving the colorful graphics, the cute humor and the gameplay is easy to do yet wants you to continue more based on bosses. Highly recommended it for the Touhou fans out there.

This game's like Touhou going Kirby! Except you play as a girl that looks like she's in her late teens! :D It's a difficult, yet, great game, nonetheless! If you like Kirby and Touhou, I highly recommend this game!
