About Sanguine Soul
Malieun is a powerful warlock-king who has ruled his domain for many years. Betrayed by his people, Malieun suffers a seemingly mortal blow by a wandering wizard named Noor. However, Malieun discovers a newfound power on the brink of death that enables him to convert his magic power into life force or his life force into magic power. Using what’s left of his magic, he staves off death. Equipped with this new-found ability, Malieun must defeat all that stands in his way to get revenge on Noor who cursed him.

"Sanguine Soul" is, I am really hoping, a student project or something... which might go as some way to explaining why it's so bad. If it's not, then this is just an unmitigated disaster. If it is, well, we can just wonder if any of the students graduated. What do you do in the game? This is a first person shooter, a bad one, with limited attacks, busted dash mechanics, zero polish, cringe voice acting and annoying cutscenes, repetitive enemies with terrible AI... really there's no saving graces here apart from the game being a bit easy. I don't think it matters if a game is easy or hard if it's so badly made nobody wants to play it. The graphics aren't great, a bunch of mismatched looking (sometimes) low poly assets... it's a hectic and incongruous looking mess.. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Behind the facade of graphical polish lies a game that managed to both annoy and bore me within 20 minutes due to ONE primary fire, a dash that doesn't properly work and three enemy types; one of which are intolerable little creatures that snipe you with their lasers from afar, with precise shots, dealing loads of damage. Now of course I could've trained to defeat all of them, but if a game has such limited scope and ambitions, with three, mostly two endlessly repeating, boring enemy types, some broken spawns or AI behaviour, a bland setting and embarassingly bad cutscenes, why should I even bother? 3/101 found this helpful

zero context you play as the obvious bad guy cringey voice acting and cutscenes there's a total of 3 enemies and no bosses entirely unnecessary shield mechanic (just strafe and nothing can damage you 4head) checkpoints make it way too easy by keeping all dead enemies dead and regenning your health/magic I GOT MY CONTROLLER OUT FOR THIS?

If use a 6DOF setup without hiding it, the body will sway on the screen while aiming.
