What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players consistently report that online multiplayer is broken and non-functional, making it impossible to play with friends despite the feature being advertised. While some enjoy the single-player experience against bots and appreciate the game's nostalgic value, widespread technical issues including Remote Play problems, poor visual quality, unexpected Epic Games login prompts, and revoked game keys from promotional sources make it difficult to recommend the purchase.
Tried to play with some friends. Online multiplayer straight up doesn't work, you can never find a game. Don't bother.2 found this helpful

Holy peak. I owned this game on my xbox one. This is one of my favorite games and is up there with call of duty 2(BTW got it at a garage sale for 2.99 from some nice old lady)
The game doesn't work in Remote Play Together with two gamepads, it's very glitchy, and the quality of assets is horrendous (looks like 16 bit color depth on Windows 98). On top of that, every time you enter the main menu, an Epic Games login window pops up (which is not mentioned anywhere in the description). Overall, very poor experience and low quality, do not purchase unless you like buyer's regret.
The game’s features list mentions that you can invite friends to an online game. This is not possible, at least not through Steam. Public online games did not either show up to my friends. Don’t buy it, if you want to play it online with friends.
I like playing this in single player against bots. The obstacles and environmental traps can be pleasantly frustrating.
