Saviour of the Wasteland

Relatively short, but an interesting game. A solid introduction to a much bigger game. The game"s theme is interesting; the end of the world and surviving in whatever is left of it. Game keeps you engaged, and althought there are some repetitive parts, it remains interesting. They definitely could have put more effort into adding more scenes during bunker-building parts, which are actually the main element of the game, and for me, one of the best aspects. The characters are good, but shallow. The world is designed in a cool way, but it lacks of details and imagination. The animations are not even worth mentioning. For screenshoot lovers, there is some materials, but nothing spectacular. I looked at this game as a bit of a side quest, and as such, it exceeded my expectations. Pretty cool overall, but I would recommended getting it on sale. Overall rating: 6.8/10

The game is very generic and the writing is often "off" and poorly phrased. There are few animations and overall, I don't find the "plot" to be compelling. When it comes to visual novels there are far better options out there for you to explore. If you see the game on sale and you want to give it a try, go ahead, but don't expect characters that you'll connect with or route for. There are just so many stories out there that are worth your time and don't feel like they were put together rapidly with little effort. Plus it only takes about two hours to reach the end of the story, which only further shows that minimal effort was put into the writing. The exploration mechanic is purely point, click, see what random result you get. There are no decisions made that result in any impact on the story. Etc. etc. Like I said, you're better off spending your time and money else where.

Great game

Fun for about 3 hours

Very enjoyable, a little repetative I'll admit, but the story was fun enough to make up for that. SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!! I was surprised by the twist at the end of this being an alternate timeline to Lunars Chosen! The ending also made me think there's more story to come from this, so I hope there's a sequel! (Especially if it includes expanding the family ;).)
