Beautiful content with very fun gameplay till it gets almost impossible unless you pay. Could spend couple hours but it would take literally YEARS to finish this game F2P, so don't.

Somewhat fun survival game with collection mechanics. But it seems the developer/publisher has abandoned the game now. There hadn't been any updates in many months after they teased about a new pet mechanic, also the game no longer exists on the website from where it originated from.

Eden Survivors is an unusual fusion of survivor-style roguelite action, mech customization, science-fiction storytelling, romance, and visual novel elements. Instead of committing entirely to one genre, it constantly shifts between fighting alien threats, improving a mechanical combat platform, interacting with a colorful cast of heroines, and progressing through an increasingly chaotic galactic adventure. Developed by Deadlime Games and published by Fantasy Fusions Studios, it clearly targets players who enjoy progression-heavy action but also want character interaction and narrative to play a substantial role in the experience. The central premise follows ACE, an engineer whose life becomes considerably more dangerous through his activities as a vigilante. From there, the story expands into a conflict involving dangerous enemies, intergalactic mysteries, romance, and the possibility of catastrophic destruction. The narrative is much more substantial than the game's action-focused presentation might initially suggest, with around 80,000 words devoted to its universe and characters. Somewhere, a "survivors-like" auto shooter and a mobile gacha game got into a horrible transporter accident, and Eden Survivors is what stumbled out the other side, half melted together and worse than both parents. Let's talk about the "action" part first, since that's the genre it's cosplaying as. It might genuinely be one of the worst survivor-likes on all of Steam, and that's a crowded field of clones to lose to. The audio is broken in a way that feels almost impressive, you'll swear there are no sound effects at all until you dig into a settings menu and discover you have to crank music down to about 2 percent just to hear anything happening on screen. And the one song that does play loops so fast and so often it starts to feel like a hostage situation before you even finish the first level. Then there's the actual point of the game, the "waifus." Locked behind loot boxes. Locked further behind an energy system straight out of a 2014 mobile app, so even grinding for the content you're here for gets capped unless you either wait around doing nothing or pay to skip the wait.
