You’re dropped into a burned-out world and left to move between locations, factions and characters, slowly piecing things together through quests and multiple interactions. The game feels to be split almost across acts and as you progress, more of the world opens up, as you take on tasks and move between settlements. Whilst you may freely do so by exploring the desert, there are many choices that will either allow you to meet a specific character or miss one of them.
