✦ AI summary

The game offers fun and addictive gameplay with satisfying progression through weapon upgrades and challenging boss fights, but it suffers from significant technical issues including display scaling bugs that obscure UI elements, lack of graphics and audio settings, and cluttered screen layouts that interfere with combat visibility. Players appreciate the developer's effort and creative weapon design, though the unresolved display problems make the experience frustrating for some.

Lacks proper display settings making the game unplayable, half the bottom part is either missing, or all the buttons are janked into each other due to some % width/height bugs. No options to even change any display settings at all, ALT+Enter gives a window mode of the same fullscreen ressolution that ain't helping... No volume controls to lower parts of the sounds. Maps like the forest is extremelly annoying as there is so much uneeded clutter on the screen that are somewhat see-through, but in games like these where you are dodging bullets, you don't want all that stuff in addition to elements that blocks you or shoots.

For all its simplicity its quite fun and addicting. You can tell the creator puts their effort into it. The game can get difficult at times but that makes it all the more rewarding when you finally upgrade and start kicking butt.

I play tested a lot of this whenever I got the chance throughout the development process and it's been quite a journey that this game has been on. I enjoyed the testing and implementation of new weapons like the acid and the chain. My favorite weapon though is the Umbral Wave because it looks awesome and can really save you when a lot of enemies are approaching you at once. The snake boss is my favorite and it's a fun and chaotic time dealing with the boss and lots of adds together. I look forward to the future of this game as it's expanded upon further.
