Scuttle

I'm not a huge fan of rhythm games, but Scuttle is impossible not to love. The music, gameplay, visuals and pacing all come together to create a unique, and wildly entertaining experience. And to top it all off, the story is surprisingly poignant. Definitely check it out, you wont regret it.

The concept for the story is interesting and funny, and the gameplay is fluid and rewards level/map knowledge while having a steady difficulty progression curve! I really liked the intro sequence and advancing the dialogue to make my own song basically; the game may feel like it's taking a bit too long to take off the guardrails at times but once you are free with the final 6 levels, you really get to see the vision for what this game is all about. Going for all S-Ranks had my playtime total to 12.8 hours, and you don't need absolute perfection in your platforming to obtain S-Ranks which I like because you will be VERY focused on the rhythm so much of the time!

Absolutely worth the $7, this is such a fun game to get immersed into. From the tutorial I was already hooked, and as the game went on, the new features every level kept me hooked. While it does have its quirks, the map designs, and game design are out of this world for a solo project. I would compare this game to a 3D geometry dash with a story aspect. 9.5/10.

Cute rhythm game at a great price point, makes for a great gift for any musician gamer. Hoping for a future patch for framerates above 60.

My SO and I are really enjoying this game so far. It's like a blend of Mario Kart and Rhythm Heaven. The music is always good and the game feels uplifting. This game is also perfect for community-made maps. I can't wait for that feature.

Great game! Unique concept executed very well. Music is what makes it, it has me happy the whole time. Good amount of replayability going for high scores. Well worth the money!
