Fun and frantic ship vs ship engagements, interesting take on swashbuckling combat, and neat exploration in a randomized world. Recommended! [h1]In-Depth Review:[/h1] I had a great time playing this game. You set sail in a randomly generated world to find 4 pieces of a treasure map -- thankfully you have a map of your own that shows you their locations, but you still have to fight to take each piece from whoever has it. This can take the form of walking onto a land mass and fighting someone, or having to first disable their ship and THEN fight them, cutlass to cutlass. Sea battles are generally fun and remind me of what Binding of Isaac (or games like it) might be like if it all happened on boats. Boat handling is not at all realistic and that's totally okay, allowing you to change direction quickly in order to have more intense battles with other ships as you lob cannon balls at each other. This is the best game I have ever played in my life

I love this game. It's brutal. Maybe someday I'll manage to beat it.

This game is a pretty simple game that comes at a cheap price but is very entertaining and provides ample enjoyment for those looking for a simple and relaxing gameplay. The replay value is pretty high as well due to it simplicity making it something someone can keep coming back to without having to sink in hours upon hours to fully complete the game.

It's fun for what it is. Quite simple and easy to play. I collected 3 pieces of the map on my second attempt. The pieces of the map move each time and the situations can change a little too. You have no location indicator on the map so you have to read it by the island shape... like a real map. The only issue I had so far was that I ended up glitch stuck, trapped between another ship and an Island and couldn't continue and had to restart. Despite this still think the majority of the game functions well and it is enjoyable to try and survive and collect the map. Don't expect a masterpiece, expect a few restarts due to permadeath, play it for what it is and you will enjoy it. PS: Shoot with the up and down arrows.
