Secrets of Magic 3: Happy Halloween

Very creepy cute Halloween -themed match 3 game. You earn coins to buy Halloween decorations for the schoolyard. Profile Features Limited right now, which doesn't mean much since the game has no achievements and no trading cards. It basically just means that for now, it can't be used in your Games Collector profile showcase. The usual Accessibility things- Should be fine for Deaf or HoH players (has music, but not audio cues or requirements). Bright flashy lights that may be of concern to those with certain neurological conditions. The boards can be a bit flashy and frenetic- over-stimulation may be a concern for certain neurological conditions. Lots of clicking- so arthritic fingers and wrists may be a bit sore after long sessions. No color-blindness settings, and some color combinations may cause issues- you will have to rely on your machine's system settings for color-blindness. The game is cute, casual, and **Halloween**! Very family friendly- great to play with kids, young kids may need some help as the puzzles get tougher as you go. Match 3 games are one of my favorites and I really liked the first two in the series! I needed a break after playing some hidden object and time management games so was really looking forward to playing this one. Unfortunately for me it was a real let-down. The music was decent and appropriate for a Halloween game. But I found the game play to be harder than expected and not the fun game I was seeking. It seemed like all the levels were the same with no progression... approximately 10-15 minutes to complete each one. The later levels (50+?) seemed to reward the maximum gold no matter how many stars remained at the end... even when no stars were left. I played the game in RELAXED mode with CASUAL difficulty which is the way I usually play and don't know if that was the reason I hit a glitch. The final straw was the second time I hit a level that said there was one remaining metal tile to remove but there were none on the board. I scanned the board on both levels carefully tile by tile several times but could not find any metal tile. The first time I hit this problem I replayed the level successfully. The second time was on level 92. That's when I quit the game. Will definitel…

It's nice and cute and a Halloween-ish continuation, however, my decorations got stuck and I am unable to purchase them at all. Still a pass, despite me not being able to decorate. :i Which is the main goal of the game itself. Eh.

Another fun Match 3 in the series. However, this entry does make some changes to the formula. Gone are the spiders and imps, and the special abilities have been fine tuned. These changes make for a more enjoyable game in my opinion. There are a couple of negatives though. There are no Steam achievements this time around and there is also a bug with the counting of steel plates that will require you to replay the level should you encounter it.

It's an enjoyable drop down game that had some neat elements, and always luv a Halloween theme! ;) Glad they're still making these games! :) ...Only complaint is that I wish the rewards were better. After about level 60-70 (out of 100 levels) they didn't give any additional rewards to 'decorate your haunted house' (not even when you finish the game which was disappointing). 3 of the levels glitched out at the end and I had to re-do them, but not a big deal. It was still a pleasant game overall. Enjoyed it!
