About SECTOR 40: The Soviet Legacy
In 1936, a test centre for the study of psychiatric disorders was set up by Russian and British medical researchers for civil and military purposes.
The location of the test centre in Russia was the old coal mine at the Ural Jamal seaside, providing cover for inter-port transport and the movement of test subjects.
In the old travel documents of the harbour, some strange repeated entries can be found from the years of 1939 to 1976 under the name of „Lucy Ann”. During this period, many women with psychiatric disorders were declared missing.
It is believed to be a code name for the transportation of mentally ill women to the Soviet Union.
Your task is to bring back information about possible cooperation and bring clarity as to what has become of the women who were taken there.
The Soviet Union may be collapsed, its frontiers are sparse, but you should not lose vigilance. “SECTOR 40” is a forsaken secret Soviet base protected by Siberian inaccessibility

This looks halfway done. You can't change keybindings, you have limited resolutions to choose from, and if you're like me and hate the tearing from missing vsync, well vsync is off and you'll need to make driver config to have it on in this game. And the game itself, well, you start at a beach I guess. The whole environment looks kinda weird here, not to mention the sea itself which looks like a living blob. The graphics is really poor, yet, it runs bad. Then you run towards the forest or one of the sides of the beach in hope to find something else than invisible walls, but you'll get disappointed. At other points you can walk through solid walls of rock, so I guess that makes up for it. I feel there hasn't been much work put into the movement either, with its 1 frame ducking. Wouldn't recommend it even if it was free.14 found this helpful
321 found this helpful
Story: 3.5/10 Graphics: 2/10 Gameplay: 0/10 This game is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad. After half an hour I practically accidentally got off the beach and into that secret base. I was hoping it would be better now. Wrong. It's easier to navigate what to do and where to go, but the game literally doesn't work. Your task is to find dolls and then burn them in a certain room. The problem is that the dolls can't be picked up. So I spent a few minutes walking around hoping to find a doll that could be picked up. Wrong again. After going through everything I could, I gave up and jumped from the 4th floor. Please don't buy this game even when it's on sale. It's not worth your money or your time.
So upon seeing this game I wasn't expecting much tbh. The idea of the game intrigued me and so I bought it. Upon launching the game my ears started to bleed due to how loud it was, don't worry though your volume slider won't change it. You start on a beach with a note saying some coordinates that I can't seem to see why they matter but who knows maybe I am dumb. I instinctively ran to the first objects I saw which was a crashed boat, jumped on to it and got stuck and had to restart. Then I ran around the edge of the map not knowing where I was supposed to go until I hit a cut-scene with text going by WAY TO QUICKLY to fully read everything. I decided to push forward despite my frustrations so far. I got to a ladder and went to climb it... got to the top and instead of my character going onto the platform, I just fell right back down the ladder and died. That is where I gave up in this game and I plan on returning it.
