Made a full review video for the game but to do a TLDW. I think seek nails a lot of nice horror vibes and is a very fun 2d inspired silent hill style journey. The only thing I really feel needs to be worked on is the writing and some of the puzzle pacing. SEEK is a Survival Horror game that last around 6 hours. It share the likes of Resident Evil 4, Silent Hill, and Signalis. If you are a fan of it, you will definitely have fun! Summary: Your dad brought a mirror home that has an origin in a abandoned orphanage. Then the next thing you know, you are in the orphanage yourself, with nightmarish creatures that never seems to stay dead. You have to find out the cause of this nightmarish world and end it once and for all. My praise for this game is the use of the atmosphere to create an environment, sometimes it is the dilapidated hallway that tells you, yes it is an abandoned orphanage. Sometime it is the metal floor and generator hum that tells you yes, this place is cold and there will be monsters there. Sometimes it is the classical music and warm light or cozy room that signifies that you are in a safe area. The story overall is straight forward and you will empathize with the characters in the game without it being dramatic. It is grounded and relatable.
