The game's difficulty ramps up sooo fast. the option to disable the music is broken, i wanted this as the audio was doubling up on itself leading to unbearable noise. This game is not worth 4.99 and due to the difficulty so early on where weapons just dont seem to do anything i would suggest passing on this.
A cool idea, terrible execution.
Not for Serious Sam fans. Not for real JRPG fans. Just a waste of time and money. The IP itself is long dead, it's just corpse puppeting ever since Second Encounter.
Yet another weird SS game. The whole choose your weapon every 5 sec just kills the flow.

I got it on sale for a buck. For the price, it's alright. It's not very well balanced. I didn't really expect it to. It reminds me of those early 2000s Flash games you could play in your browser. If a game of that caliber had been on Newgrounds back then, I'm sure it would have been among the more popular ones there. I love the Serious Sam games, I think Croteam devised one of the best first-person shooter style games of all time. This game is part of the studio's effort to encourage indie devs to take a spin on their franchise. I appreciate what this small bunch of devs were able to produce in a short time. I think the formula they tried here is interesting. As others have said, it starts out alright then becomes an unfair RNG poop fest. Sometimes the music glitches out. And sometimes, the distance between your SAMs increases for some reason, making them "stuck" and you can't dodge anymore. I wouldn't mind seeing a more polished version of that game if they wanted to update it or make a sequel, i dunno. It's got at least 1 puzzle and several one-liners. The soundtrack kicks ass. This game should last you an hour or two, assuming you find a way to cheese it. For Serious fans …
