very very cute!!! def recommend it

A very short wlw visual novel. It is stylistically precious, with beautiful colors and design. The characters, Arlette and Oaxa, are both quirky outcasts from their respective places of origin; and that's it. Another review mentioned that the short length plays against the enjoyment of the story, and I must agree, having the most impact on the personalities: Arlette is the nervous, shy, nerdy lesbian while Oaxa is the muscular bimbo that looks at Arlette's mundanity with starry-eyes. Spoiler for Chapter 4: [spoiler] Arlette has a, to me, very out of character moment where she unleashes a very mean-spirited string of insults at Oaxa while the other is understandably upset about the situation; it is resolved merely 6 lines later. It felt like conflict for the sake of conflict, especially when there was already enough tension to be engaging without Arlette having a Lowtiergod Jr. moment. [spoiler/] The games was made as part of a game jam so its simplicity makes sense, though you are surprised by tidbits of dynamic character animation when you least expect them. Overall, it's a cute, sweet as honey, very short read.

Its shortness personally prevents me from connecting to the characters but I cant resist a little sapphic romance
