Design choice to remove your weapons after first death ruins the fun. The game follows an operative that has to infiltrate a facility. Although there are voices for you and the agent on the other side that gives you constant instructions and feedback, they have a slightly computer-generated feel. It’s not obvious, but some words are not spoken in a natural way. Subtitles are present, but they’re barely useful due to their tiny size. The controls work like in any third-person game. You can move around, sprint, crouch, aim, and fire. The remaining keys control med-kit use, reloading, and taking cover. Because the whole point of the game is to sneak up on enemies and kill them in silence, there is also a takedown button. However, because your initial weapon is a silencer pistol with unlimited ammo, you can eliminate enemies from a distance. They are not bullet sponges, therefore a single gunshot to the head eliminates practically everyone. The graphics are adequate, but not very impressive. There are also optimization issues, since turning in one direction can result in a significant loss in framerates. This is a solid stealth game for the most part. There are some issues though such as the enmy bein' able to shoot thru objects. This makes some of the fights unfair. Also the enemies seem to spot us before we can spot them. The graphics are serviceable and the atmosphere is good. It also features voice over work which is solid. The price tag may be a bit much for some. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/pd5QjkqDwEE2 found this helpful
Needs some improvement in a lot of areas to be something I can really see myself playing. Biggest thing right now is the performance. My Steam Deck is sputtering along like its on it's last legs trying to run this on low graphics settings. The dev should invest in the world optimization system from the UE Market or something. The takedown animation should be swapped out as well IMO. Controller support should be added in. And I'd like to see some features from the later Splinter Cell games added in. Lets see some night vision/integrated optics (so hard to see guards im the dark), gadgets, shadow system, cover system, cover takedowns, smoke grenades, shoot out lights, remote mines, decoys, sticky cameras, mark & execute, shadow system, aim assist, climbing system, climbing takedowns, shadow system, etc. Deniable ops mode would also be sick. This game seems like its definitely on the right track, but its very basic. Which is understandable, but I'd like to see more stuff added in over time. If minimalism is the point then I'd like to see some influence from games like 'No Sun To Worship'. But ultimately, this is a stealth game and having access to more gadgets and ways of attacking th…
Cool and very challenging game, it has a great atmosphere and is very well detailed, with highly realistic and high-quality graphics. I recommend this game to everyone who enjoys action.
