The Day Night Cycle
During the day, you can collect the weapons you've bought from chests, explore around, and kill a few badies here or there. During the night, be prepared to kill or be killed, hopefully gaining dozens or even hundreds of souls, which is the currency of this world.
Procedurally Generated Destructible Tiles
This allows every playthrough to be a bit different. It always spawns a 4x4 grid of rooms to allow you to get a groove, and (spoiler alert) every exit is somewhere in a bottom room.
TLDR: Shoot using mouse, move using wasd, buy weapons using the skulls you get from killing zombies, blow up the zombies using various weapons.

Very bad intro into game (why would you start the game off with no sound and give me a gun I cant shoot until next room, feels very unprofessional. Ui is really bad too, I had to figure out what the numbers above the npc mean. The skulls you collect look like monsters and can be confusing. Sound effects for guns have no pitch which can make gun sounds tedious. 99 cent game at most, very unpolished feeling game.2 found this helpful
Shadow walker is fun. Is it $8 dollars fun? That's debatable. The game is buggy and it can be frustrating sometimes but the game loop and mechanics are actually pretty enjoyable and it does offer a variety of ways to play and guns and grenades to buy. The game is difficult in a good way and its definitely a challenge to kill the bosses and i enjoy using strategies to try to stay alive as long as possible. All in all, I'd absolutely recommend at least trying it if your interested, I am very happy with my purchase. Banana gun on top!2 found this helpful
