Shadows is a truly unique horror experience, and one of the most enjoyable I've played! I love that the game gives you the option to play both as the Shift and now in single-player mode too. It keeps things fresh every time you play — the map layout changes each time, which adds a lot of replayability. My favorite map has to be the carnival. The variety of different carnival games is awesome, and it adds a lot of fun to the spooky atmosphere. The combination of single-player and multiplayer modes makes the game even more exciting and challenging. You should check out the ghost train which is a favourite of mine to always try and beat my previous score! Really looking forward to future updates! Great job to everyone who worked on Shadows!

Shadows Are Alive is like if a haunted mansion and a Saturday morning cartoon had a creepy little baby 👻🖤 It’s spooky, adorable, and full of jumpy fun—all the thrill without the buckets of gore from Dead by Daylight. The shape-shifting rooms keep you on edge, the alter egos are a blast, and honestly? It’s proof you can make horror that’s cute, gothic, and fun for all ages. Shadows Are Alive is an asymmetrical hide-and-seek–style horror game where one player controls a shadow creature and the others try to complete tasks and stay out of its reach. It’s meant to be a more “friendly” take on the genre — less gore, more spooky fun — with a shifting mechanic that lets you move in and out of shadow form to hunt down the kids exploring the environment. *don't skip the tutorial* Played this from the alpha stages and won a key to the full release, it's got a lot of promise & the visual/audio are insane! It's shiny so there's the odd bug but the Devs are on it and reactive, last feedback they'd fixed stuff in two days. Liking the introduction of an AI shift (protagonist) so you can single player it while your friends hit the tutorial. Lots of cool stuff and replayability to beat your friends escape times!
