Still holds up in 2026, nice visuals and controls, various gameplay modes to choose from including endless and one of the best soundtracks i've ever listened to in a video game. The very low price is the cherry on top. W video game!

Quite misleading. The game is presented as offering several different modes to play, which naturally gives the impression that you're purchasing a game with a variety of experiences to choose from. In reality, you install it and discover that you're given access to one single game mode. The other modes (Time Attack etc.) are locked. They're not unavailable because you've failed to master some particularly demanding challenge. They're locked because the game has decided that you haven't yet progressed far enough along its prescribed path. That makes for a rather poor first impression, and an even poorer design philosophy. If you're going to advertise multiple game modes, those modes should actually be part of the game the player purchased, rather than being used as carrots dangled behind an artificial progression system. More importantly, locking away the majority of the game's modes doesn't create genuine difficulty. It creates the appearance of progression. There is a big difference between challenging a player to become better at a game and simply telling them you can't play this yet. The former rewards skill and strategy. I wanna like the game, I love brick breaker but holy what feels like rigged bossed artificial difficulty and needing just perfect everything to avoid continues. or the constant stuff doing it's best to shove you and you ball out, I thought I bought a brick breaker game but I ended up playing what felt more like Wii Tennis with a family member at times and then bad bossing and ok gameplay at best. Would give a meh review but it's not positive. Not worth more than $2 that it is but is fun.

Brick Breaker that has been raised up to 11, played something similar like space invaders extreme and that had like a remix to Space Invaders which is raised to 11. Anyway it's a must buy if your into something that revolves a ball and have something to hit with like a brick to clear out levels as you progress, reminds me of something in the arcades, yeah buy shatter it's probably the only brick breaker game I've come across so far, here on Steam.
