About Shattered God - Quest for the Divine Relic

Shattered God is a 2D Action-RPG that builds upon the classics, but introduces new ideas for a fresh experience.

Made with its unique, fun gameplay as the main focus, it'll surely impress, challenge and surprise you with its many interesting mechanics, features and content.
  • Unique battle system that's challenging, fun, and player-skill based. Do you want to kill the final boss with a level 1 character? You can!
  • New Chat and NPC system that'll have you piecing together the lore and backstory of the world with what you get out of the people you meet. If they know about it, and feel like telling you, of course.
  • Your choices truly affect the story, determining not only what ending you get, but also how the adventure itself plays out, with exclusive party members, bosses, challenges, etc.
  • Over 40 enemies, including 15+ bosses, to battle! No enemy feels the same, as they all have their own attacks, spells, abilities, special attributes and even AI. Not even the recolors fight the same!
  • 60 different Spells and over 45 special Artifacts to collect! Spells and Weapons are all equally powerful, and there's no weakness system, so use what you like best and is better suited for the situation.
  • More than 10 dungeons, some being completely optional.
  • 4 party members, each with their own abilities, spells, weapons and dialogue. Some of them can even leave you based on what you do throughout your adventure.
  • 3 different endings with variations based on what you did and who's with you when the journey's over.
  • New Game Plus, with increased difficulty, that keeps everything you obtained from your previous adventure, letting you choose a different story path to take and granting access to new areas.

We're a very small team of passionate creators, and we hope you enjoy our dream project. Thanks a lot!

this game has promise but has some REALLY bad design choices. i was having fun (on the first level mind you) when a spell locked my sword in place, not being able to defend myself or attack i was hit repeatedly as i waited for the timer just to be locked again before the timer was up leading to my swiftly demise. i then give it another try and after beating the level you're put into some town and made to do some dumb wheel spin game to be able to ask about the 30 items in a guys chat to get info (there are 3 guys you can do this with). after asking a few questions your bar will ran out so its back to the spiny game. with next to no explanation wtf this is all about i can't get past this part. like does the bar need to be full to get good answers? because when its low i got nothing, and when does he stop giving good info, wtf?!? its like the dev went "whats the most tedious part of rpg's? i know talking to npc! i'll make that worse." if the game was cleaned up it would be a blase but not in its currant state and not just do to the items i talked about. p.s. you'll also notice there are no pictures in this games screenshots and that's because print screen does noting and f12 crash…

This is a retro pixel JRPG style game with a gimmicky "action" combat component that feels a bit like a mobile game with golf swing style mechanics. While it's okay to try new mechanics, the operational word is "try", that is, you implement in a beta or alpha, test it internally, and only release the mechanic with your game if it's any good. You don't "try" it and when you find it doesn't work, publish the game anyway. That's the kind of thing that gets you negative reviews on Steam. Also, awful retro pixel graphics, and why the heck is the game 4:3 aspect ratio when it was released in 2017? Garbage.

https://youtu.be/50hR8LPRE78 Attempting a more active combat system is a design space worth investigating, but the implementation here falls short as imprecise spawn as implement. Characters lack charm to hook the narrative.
