Always liked 2D action side scroller, was not expecting much but I actually enjoyed this game. The combat is good, abilities is also good, story is straightforward but I felt bad that it is a short game. Still recommended.
Where do i start? The game play was fun and fast but quickly noticed how easy it became as soon as i got the ability to block. The balance is out of sorts, and ii was playing on inferno because i thought it would be a good starting point. I dog walked the bosses through the entire game after getting blocking. It took me 4 hrs to beat the game (i spent 1 hr wandering around to find out how to get the true ending.) is it worth $10s? it depends on you. was it fun? yes i had fun but dont look for anything complex or deep. I already owned another game so the cost was reduced to around 9 bucks and i think i got my moneys worth.
It was a fun game. Good game feel, good exploration, average boss design. I'd give it a fun 7.5/10
Honestly a surprisingly good game, plays well and has a good variety of enemies/environments and nice difficulty settings so you can play the game however you want. Only complaint is that its a bit short, but even then its worth the price, especially on sale. Maybe they'll release a dlc or sequel that is longer one day
Good metroidvania, nothing really special here but it controls nicely and story is entertaining enough. Seems like these devs first attempt at a metroidvania and at least they made something cool. Got all achievements in under 6h (playing on Inferno diff) but It's pretty packed with boss fights, stuff to find, abilities, etc. If it's on sale don't make excuses and get it! :D
