I loved the game, but it might take a few hours to see its exceptional creativity, it's a bit stale and repetitive at first, with a few technical issues. However, the world is just so quirky with clever exploration, full of weird characters and dreamy vibes, and underneath, the passion for poetry and storytelling. The only two big negatives is that it takes so long to just backtrack for every sheep and to wait for every tree narration, and then 2 hours later the game offers you a Quake-like tech to move faster, it's @@@@@ hilarious. Takes about 6 hours to finish (not full exploration), there are more things to collect. - characters are FUNNY (great dialogue and designs) - music is GORGEOUS - poems are THOUGHTFUL, like for real some got me laughing and others are stuck in my head - devs are GOOFY, in all the right ways, just watch the achievements as u play the game love it so far and still got so much to go!

I have been waiting months since playing the demo to shovel over five euros to this man and have one absolutely phenomenal experience.

It's a little janky, and honestly the poems can be a bit too long sometimes, but it's still a very cool experience and well worth a few bucks. I really enjoyed the chill absurdity and brutality of it all, and I'm sure I'll go back later to play more. The whole thing has a lot more playtime than I expected, but I don't feel a need to 100% it, which is the perfect balance in my eyes. Oh and it works fine on Linux! A few more things: - Love the seedlings so much. - Yeah this game DESPERATELY needs to let you keep playing while the tree talks. It's fine if you even want to have it do the cutscene by default and then it's skippable. Even making it a ring orb would be funny and fine as long as it's available early, but the way it kills momentum in an otherwise engaging package is really rough. I think this would also help a lot with the repetitive feeling I've developed where finding 5 sheep far from the tree isn't as exciting as it should be.

Of all the ways I've seen poetry and prose collected, I never thought I would see a collection in the form of a collectathon video game. That novelty alone is conversation-worthy, but on top of that it's actually a fun little game to play too.

As the owner of a physical copy, I have no constructive criticism, only immense blind positivity!
