Silverfall, a once glorious city, lies in the fantastical Kingdom of Nelwë, where the forces of Technology and Nature are strongly opposed. Symptoms of this terrible conflict have begun to manifest physically as melded cyberbiologic organics and living steam-driven automatons.
Drag your hero from the pits of this world and craft him into a mighty champion that can oppose the planet-choking Order of Nothingness. Freedom to evolve in either the technological or spiritual paths is in your hands and you must choose your comrades wisely to provide a balance and benefit to your efforts - but be cautious, any bias in your choices will either corrupt or upgrade the growing world around you.

At this point I think that the only old school ARPGs worth playing ( and I played a lot of them including Mage Knight Apocalypse ) are Sacred Gold and Diablo 2. And maybe Dungeon Siege on a good day. All the others are just cheap copycats, poorly designed and unbalanced, and Silverfall makes no exception. There is a reason it faded into obscurity.2 found this helpful

Silverfall is an ambitious mid-2000s action RPG that reflects both the creativity and the growing pains of the genre during that era. Developed by Monte Cristo and published by Focus Entertainment, the game set out to deliver a large-scale fantasy adventure built around real-time combat, open-ended character progression, and a thematic struggle between nature and technology. game doesn't work, it's broken.
Like Septerra Core this is another game that I bought on sale but never set aside time to play. I wish there was another option beside yes or no for these games.
