Start off on a small island in the middle of nowhere. A terrible event has wiped out the light.
As the island slowly expands, you’ll have to build lights to grow crops. Build guns to ward off the enemies that are attracted to your light.---Developer note: Simple Farm was my first game. It’s buggy and unfinished. But I no longer support the engine it was made in, so I’ve made it free to play. It’s still a good little game to kill a few hours!

"Simple Farm" is basically a short, small, lightweight top down/twin stick shooter with a gimmick around planting seeds and growing crops, but if you're looking for Farmville on Steam (why), this ain't it. And it's no Stardew Valley, either. What do you do in the game? All you do in this game is variations on basic top down shooter gameplay, plus some incredibly primitive building activity (to create the farm) coupled with one of the laziest technical deliveries I've seen here in the amateur section of Steam Direct for literally minutes. Frankly the concept might have even worked if the delivery was even remotely up to scratch. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3…2 found this helpful

Простота геймплея, приятная графика и ненавязчивая музыка создают расслабляющую атмосферу, в которой приятно провести время после трудового дня. Управление интуитивно понятное, разобраться сможет даже новичок в жанре. Развитие фермы происходит постепенно, что позволяет насладиться каждым этапом. Посадка культур, уход за животными, торговля урожаем - все это реализовано достаточно просто, но при этом увлекательно. Несмотря на "простоту" в названии, в игре есть чем заняться. Разнообразие культур и животных, возможность расширения фермы и улучшения построек не дают заскучать. Отсутствие сложной экономики и жестких временных рамок позволяет играть в своем темпе, не чувствуя давления. Конечно, игра не лишена недостатков. Графика довольно простая, и, возможно, кому-то покажется слишком детской. Также, у игроков, привыкших к более сложным симуляторам, может быстро надоесть однообразие игрового процесса.
