A truly lovely game about a complex topic. I heartily recommend it if you enjoy non-traditional romances. -Soft SPOILERS- Holy hell. Gang, this is one of those games. The Doki Doki type. It gets nightmare dark in the second half. I was almost lulled into thinking it was just a cute little romance and then those little comments started that were just a little bit off, the music started to tilt, and then it hit. Ultra yandere stuff. You're in for a ride. There is also a happy ending route though.

the story is quite short but has very memorable arcs. I absolutely loved the good endings, they're very cute together and their relationship is beautiful with how their personalities contrast. However I cannot fully recommend this game as is, There simply are way too many mentions of nsfw topics. Even if the steam version has removed the nsfw scenes, it does not remove the mention of it. This is especially problematic due to their implied age. From their and their schoolmates' behaivour it is very much so implied to be middle to early highschoolers therefore I really prefer to not see that side of their lives.

“Sisterly Bliss ~Don't Let Mom Find Out~” is a game about a budding romance between two sisters. The story is sometimes sweet, but it’s also quite short, and the translation, while competent, can be too literal at times. (5/10) An early childhood flashback uses metaphors that don’t translate cleanly into English, such as comparing the girls to "two leaves on one stem." It results in lines that feel awkward without a direct English equivalent, though that isn't the game's only issue. The casual conversations are probably the biggest offender, often failing to sound genuine. For example: Classmate A: “Those two are close as always!” Classmate B: “Even though they are twins, they act so different!” Classmate C: “Ichika is the coolheaded girl who excels at her studies, and Futaba is the cute little sister type, and athletic to boot.” Thanks for the lore dump, but no one actually talks like that. Right before this, you also learn that Ichika prefers reading over sports because she’s “more mature,” which makes little sense as maturity and athletic interest aren't mutually exclusive. Something was likely lost in translation here as well. This pattern continues throughout …
