Symbiotic Love - Yuri Visual Novel

This is a good yuri visual novel with great art, characters, and OST. The pacing is a bit off at times, and many of the endings feel abrupt and unsatisfying, but it's a well-written, emotional story overall that I'd recommend for anyone who is okay with darker yuri stories.

Overall very wholesome, but with unresolved/bittersweet endings. Includes "sisterly love".

I can not recommend this. Yes, the writting is magnificient and well done, but the game is ruined by a few narrative-choices. In the first sentence its revealed that the protagonists will get together and one of them will kill herself. This leads to the fact, that the entire game your left wondering why you should care, as everything is a forgone conclusion. This makes a majority of the game boring. The only reason why you read on is to figure out why this happend and the game delivers at the end. The twist is well executed, the game gets creative at that point, but it doesnt get elaborated on and its to late, as the game ends two-three pages later. The villian gets no punishmend and because this is a prequel to "Melancholy Love" they wont get one later. Thanks to these narrative choices the game becomes, despite well written, a boring and depressing slog. Not my cup of tea.

This review contains spoilers for both Symbiotic Love and Melancholy Love This game is absolutely amazing, I am personally obsessed with the story in this game. My only issue with this game is that in Melancholy Love it's teased that Jisuo is actually alive but it's not talked about more in this game. I really hope we get another game in this series that goes into that more because i truly love these characters and series. Overall this game is heart wrenching and beautiful.

One of the best yuri VN I've played. The music is amazing as well.
