This is a great adventure game. It's combined the story with the puzzle solving. Puzzle different and they can vary from extremely complex to super simple. Game will appeal to those who enjoy gameplay based on discovery and finding solutions.12 found this helpful
RPG Maker strikes again! SKAZKA is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. It's always interesting to see eastern bloc asset flip scammers step away from the Unity Asset Store where they get most of their copy + paste template junk and try to make a real game (and I assume they didn't just steal this from someone else, I wouldn't rule it out). This game is published by some very harmful Latvian scammers. KuKo/Mustella Games have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. SKAZKA, developed by KuKo in collaboration with Mustella Games and published by KuKo, is a 2D indie adventure that blends puzzle-solving, light role-playing elements, and a quietly emotional narrative into a compact, stylized experience. Built using RPGMaker foundations, the game presents a story-driven journey that favors visual storytelling over traditional dialogue-heavy exposition. At its heart lies a simple but poignant premise: a protagonist sets out on a dangerous quest to obtain a magical flower capable of curing a gravely ill woman. From that starting point, SKAZKA unfolds as a symbolic and often abstract tale about perseverance, empathy, and sacrifice. One of the most distinctive aspects of SKAZKA is its near-total absence of spoken or written dialogue. Rather than relying on text boxes or voice acting, the game communicates through animation, character gestures, and environmental cues. Expressions, posture, and scene framing carry emotional weight, requiring players to interpret intent and meaning through observation. This approach creates a universal storytelling style that transcends language barriers, but it also demands attentiveness. Without explicit instructions s…
