Sky Harvest

I really wanted to like this game. I played the demo and thought it was just limited for the demo. The premise is really fun. The art style is so-so, but for a good story, I can overlook that. The NPCs are enthusiastic. And most of these farming sim games give you a low limit on stamina in the early days anyway. That's fine. I even like the how fishing mechanic works in this, with the right balance of timing and patience. However, the farming mechanics are sloooow. The menus are kind of clunky. There is no controller support. In the shop windows, the detail box covers the item box scrollbar, so you can't see if there is more to scroll down to or if the scrolling is broken (because the bottom item is cut off). One of the early quests requires a TON of nails, but you can't unlock what you need to make the nails, so you have to wait around and buy 4 nails a day from one of the shops. The constant crash and roll, no matter where you turn the rocket off, makes me cringe (more than Lara Croft's knees banging on rock cliffs). I might pick it up again if some patches get released.

Early access and single dev, so a work in progress. The game is fun and relaxing. I usually don't like games where I can fly around, but in this case the jetpack works perfectly without wobbly bits. Can't wait for an update

A cozy farming adventure with relaxing gameplay and a beautiful world above the clouds. Exploring floating islands farming fishing and building relationships make the experience enjoyable. A great game if you like calm and casual life sims
