About Skycliffs
Skycliffs is a fast-paced sci-fi action shooter roguelike. Fight monsters, get upgrades, and survive long enough to find your way out of procedurally generated multi-heights sky islands.
Explore a network of ever-changing archipelagos with their unique look and traps. Use your double jump and dash abilities to move fast across multi-heights sky islands.
Shoot 35+ foes with your gun, or hurt them with your smash move. Learn their unique patterns, dodge their attacks and kill them before they beat you to loot Skycoins. Will you defeat the final boss at the end of your adventure?
Use Skycoins to get shields, armor and improve your stats. Equip and upgrade 80+ items to get even stronger and benefit from unique effects. Find synergies and develop a play style that makes you feel powerful.
Face the fickle weather of the Skycliffs with 20+ events that will spice up your fights. Take advantage of the situation and be cautious to avoid the extra danger.
Visit stores and take on optional challenges that will test your skills and offer useful rewards to ease your journey—or make it worse in case of failure.

I've been loving this game since it came out in early access. Was lucky enough to have a chat with the developer, and their design process is fantastic. There's a lot of focus on player control, such as controlling what kind of upgrades you take, when you save vs when you spend, and whether you want to build into items and synergies or raw stats. The music is really charming, and the gameplay loop is deeply satisfying with 6 character-types to unlock (I've unlocked 3 at the time of writing this). I've sunk almost four hours into the game since it came out, and definitely plan on playing more. If you're looking for a roguelike with a new spin on tried and true formulas, look no further.
