Great throw back to SimCopter, cant wait to see where it goes!

10 / 10 Finally i can say goodbye to SimcopterX to play the oldschool Simcopter. This game is already peaking and its active been developed.

Too forgiving as far as the controls. Please implement advanced controls. Cool game nonetheless

This takes me back to sitting in my childhood home's Computer room with 3 bulky PC's with CRT monitors, and waiting my turn on the better Win 98 Machine that could actually run this game, instead of the Win 95, just barely playing at 5 or 6 years old(can't quite recall). I even had the OST download, and I was able to get the original games commercials imported into this game, as it has folders for each radio channel and commercials. It's a lovely way to take myself back and relax and unwind, I spent countless hours, and when I first picked this up as I kid, I just remember walking around the city as I missed the helicopter the first couple of times coming out of the hanger. This game captures it quite well and with mondern twist to it, I wish there were some things similar, stylized icons for the missions, and some missions missing, and being able to goomba stomp the criminal runaway drivers. But still I can play a few nice hours of this and it's nice to revisit those quiet nights I'd play this game, making cities, then saving it's citizens.

Recommended If you ever spent hours buzzing rooftops in SimCopter back in the day, this scratches that exact itch. SkySavior nails the nostalgia and then some. The helicopters feel great to fly, the missions are genuinely fun, and even in its current early state I've already sunk 20 hours into it without noticing the time go. It's still in development, so go in knowing that, but the foundation here is rock solid and I'm honestly excited for where it's headed. Easy to recommend already. Three things on my wishlist for future updates: Draw distance needs work. I'd love to actually see what's coming up further out instead of everything past a certain range going blurry. Right now it limits how much you can plan your approach. Chopper handling could use a bit more snap. I want to be able to whip from a hover into a fast 180 spin and then immediately reverse the other direction. More responsive yaw would make the flying feel a lot more alive. Controls need more flexibility. Let me remap keybindings on the controller, and ideally use keyboard and joystick at the same time. Right now the input options feel locked down, and giving players control over their own setup would go a long …

reminds me of Simcopter. Great game loving it so far.
