Players appreciate this slime sokoban puzzle game for its cute pixel art, relaxing gameplay, satisfying sound feedback, and fair price point. However, they note it's quite short (under 2 hours with fewer than 40 levels) and generally too easy, with some frustrating level design choices like fake walls that don't meaningfully add to puzzles rather than introducing new mechanics.
Game directly copies levels and gameplay from earlier game "Kingslayer: The First Assassin"11 found this helpful
I'm really into this particular slime sokoban game. It's cuter than the last slime one I played. +1 for the sound feedback for your moves because other than watching the move counter, it's a good way to tell if you actually used up a move. 10/10 super slimy game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=29471659842 found this helpful
I am changing the review to negative just to balance the reviews a bit, I don't think it's a game that deserves 100% positive reviews. Does not mean I don't recommend it or that it's a terrible game. It is a nice puzzle game, with cute pixel art graphics, a good music (Even though it is just one track and it keeps repeating throughout the whole game). For the price you can't really complain (even though I am lol), but I think the game was too short and easy. It has less than 40 levels, I finished it in less than 2 hours. I got stuck for a while only in 2 puzzles. The rest was too easy, I didn't even need to think. It is a shame because the game has a mix of different puzzle mechanics that could have been better explored to create way harder puzzles. Pros: -Very nice cute art -Relaxing game Cons: -Too easy, no real challenge -Too short, below 40 levels. Should be at least 100 levels -Same music repeats through the whole game. At least not a bad one. I hope that the dev will address those issues in the next game.1 found this helpful
Awesome concept with a couple tricky puzzles and priced fairly. The reason that I don't recommend is because there are a couple levels that are difficult because of the "fake walls" which don't do anything but clutter the puzzle. I didn't personally enjoy having to scan each tile in those puzzles to determine where I could walk. The fake walls didn't add a new mechanic (outside of noise) to those levels. I think a more interesting concept would be swapping them out for holes (can't be traversed without being first filled in with a barrel) or something else which adds more interaction. I would 100% recommend if it weren't for those puzzles which I found more irritating than interesting. There were a couple levels which were the same layout but slightly altered, but I didn't feel like they were that egregious. I also found a bug where
on the last level, you can just ignore the door entirely and go kill the boss slime.
.
a game worth keeping in your library.
I really liked this game! Clever puzzles and cute art. Some levels have a interesting challenge, with a progressive difficulty. Great for relaxing and clearing your mind.
