About Slimes
Of the things that came with the arrival of an alien being, the weakest of all of them are the slimes. Nobody knows what exactly these things are, but, as weak as they are, nobody's succeeded in destroying one of the dungeons from which they spawn.
Julius Anderson, a modern day crusader, takes the job of eradicating one of these slime dens. Hired on to help him is, well, Julius refuses to learn his name, on account of him being "diseased" with magic, but he's a healer. Through teeth-clenched teamwork, can the duo reach the bottom floor and destroy the source of the slimes?
Slimes is a 3-4 hour long dungeon crawler about two guys clearing a dungeon of slimes. Most of the story is told through side stories, which you get for clearing each floor. Kill them all and maybe there's a happy ending at the end of it all.

Unironically one of the best RPGs I've ever played
I know Slimes looks rough and the writing is a bit crass, but I really enjoyed Slimes. Combat is smooth and matched what was happening in the story. The character dynamics and the backstory/worldbuilding are phenomenal. Seeing it on itch for the first time made me want to claw my eyes out but the more I played it, the more the visuals really added to the whole experience. The color palate is a choice and it works oh so well. Great game, recommend.
It is human nature to have sinful thoughts and feelings. In my case, I have ego for my skillsets in playing turn-based RPGs. This game beat the living hell out of me at times. It pushed my face into dirt. But it was so satisfying to FINALLY give in to my inner RAGE and succumb to my thoughts of violence against certain SLIMES. The combat is top tier. The mechanics are so deep you will likely keep learning new things about them as you proceed. The battles are well-paced and mercilessly punish those lacking in skill. SLIMES is not for the faint-hearted, but there is a story mode for those who cannot handle the turn-based SLIME action. The story is quite novel like despite being on the shorter side of RPGs. Even though it takes place in one dungeon, the world is vast and explores many brutal themes such as rage, cruelty, religion, suicide, and self-hate. But it is also a journey about prevailing against the harsh nature of the world and learning to live life despite it all. A theme I quite like and explore myself. THIS IS A DAMN GOOD GAME, SO SHUT UP AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ON IT
this game will beat your ass in about every way possible and you will love it
This game is awesome. I love the story and the characters. The combat system is very unique and intuitive and can be challenging depending on the options you choose for your playthrough.
